JYC has 9 full-time and 24 part-time employees (this number increases during the summer). These employees’ duties range from preparing and serving meals to cleaning and maintaining the facilities. JYC also employs Red Cross certified life guards during the summer months to make your trip to our collegiate size swimming pool as safe as possible. The staff members of JYC are one of the greatest assets; each is hired for their particular skill set that enhances the membership experience.

Amanda Prejean

Membership and Event Services

Amanda is responsible for helping members with everything from scheduling and planning events-and just about anything in between. Non-members wishing to hold events at JYC also go through this office.

Sheila Schultz

Bookkeeper

Anna Marie Jones

Sailing Director

Anna Marie Jones is head of the sailing programs at the club and the coordinator for slip rentals in the harbor. She coordinates everything from regattas to coaching youth sailing teams. If you are interested in adult sailing programs, private lessons, regattas, youth sailing camps, middle school and high school sailing teams, or want to know what all the club offers on the water, contact her.
